There are several fun, FREE activities going on at Nashville’s Adventure Science Center during the month of August. See all the details below.

Star Party
Friday, Aug. 10
8:30 – 10:30 p.m. at Bowie Nature Park
FREE and open to visitors of all ages
Local amateur astronomers set up their telescopes for everyone to observe the Moon, Saturn, star clusters, and MUCH more!
*Inclement weather may cause cancellation – check the planetarium website or call AstroLine to confirm at 615-401-5092.

7 – 8 p.m. at Adventure Science Center
FREE and open to the public
Explore current issues in science and technology with other science enthusiasts in this casual discussion group. Ask questions, share opinions and hear the latest research in these monthly gatherings. In August, Rocky Alvey of Dyer Observatory will discuss the search for other planets in the universe.
