The 3rd annual Joe P
Rally Run will take place on September 1, 2012, in Nashville. The race is held in loving memory of Joseph Peabody, who tragically lost his battle with childhood cancer in August of 2008, when he was four years old. This year the race is Saturday, September 1, at Centennial Park. All proceeds go to brain cancer research through the Rally Foundation. Last year, the run had 350 people and raised over $40,000. Because of this incredible support, a researcher in California is beginning a new clinical trial to help other kids with brain cancer.
The Chick-fil-A cow will be there to race against the kids, and there will be face painting and balloons. Starbucks coffee is going to provide free coffee for everyone, and Bruegger’s is bringing the bagels. There are also lots of great door prizes from local businesses.
This should be another fun, family-friendly event for a great cause. To sign up or donate you can go HERE.
