Whether you’ve been packing Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes for a long time, or if you’ve just begun making it a part of your Christmas tradition, you may have wondered what happens to the children who receive the shoe boxes. Oksana Nelson, a graduate student at Lipscomb University, received a shoe box as a child living in a Russian orphanage. A year later, she was adopted by an American family. Today she tells her story of what the OCC shoe box meant to her, sharing how you too can make a difference in the life of a child.
This month, Oksana will be speaking in the Middle Tennessee area at these locations:
Thursday, September 27, 2012
Crievewood Baptist Church
480 Hogan Road
Brentwood, TN 37027
Saturday, September 29, 2012
River Rock Baptist Church
2248 Highway 99
Murfreesboro, TN 37128
2012 materials will also be distributed at this fun kick-off event for OCC! I hope you will make plans to attend and hear Oksana’s testimony!
