6th Annual Love Your Neighbor Benefit Concert

I look forward to this event every year. It’s hosted at my church and features great musical guests supporting a different cause each year. This is a great family event, but make sure to arrive early!

Whether you’ve been packing Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes for a long time, or if you’ve just begun making it a part of your Christmas tradition, you may have wondered what happens to the children who receive the shoe boxes. Oksana Nelson, a graduate student at Lipscomb University, received a shoe box as a child living in a Russian orphanage. A year later, she was adopted by an American family. Today she tells her story of what the OCC shoe box meant to her, sharing how you too can make a difference in the life of a child.

This month, Oksana will be speaking in the Middle Tennessee area at these locations:

Thursday, September 27, 2012
7:00 p.m.
Crievewood Baptist Church
480 Hogan Road
Brentwood, TN 37027

and

Saturday, September 29, 2012
10:30 a.m.
River Rock Baptist Church
2248 Highway 99
Murfreesboro, TN 37128

2012 materials will also be distributed at this fun kick-off event for OCC! I hope you will make plans to attend and hear Oksana’s testimony!
